Americans everywhere united on September
11, 2011
to remember the devastation of Sept. 11, 2001.
In New York City, family
members of the September 11 victims were able to visit the new
memorial.
It opened to the
public on Sept. 12, 2011.
September 11, 2011 Jensen Beach, Florida
St. Martin de Porres held its annual
"Blue Mass" the morning of Sept. 11, 2011. Steel from the World Trade Center were taken
around the United States for Memorials. One piece came to Martin
County where it was blessed at St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church
in September
and later displayed at the
First Responders 9 11 memorial service at Jensen Beach High
School.
